ACTIONS
WITH ART ALONG THE RIVER MEUSE, FROM COMMERCY TO ROTTERDAM - JULY AND
AUGUST 2006
Dreams
need water
The
project takes the form of an encounter between a plastic artist -Dany
Kowalski-, a sculptor -Patrick Hervelin- and water -the River Meuse.
Water, a social element, unites peoples or separates them, but has been
carrying our imagination since the beginning of time. Kowalski and
Hervelin are going to be embarking on a Floating Workshop, a "Radeau
Atelier" inspired by Rimbaud's poem the "Bateau Ivre" (or "Drunken
Boat"), in Commercy in July 2006. They will be travelling for sixty days
and covering six hundred kilometres, to reach Rotterdam.
